1. Jan 10,  · Vardis did stick around for a little time but I didn't stick with them. It's ironic that for someone who doesn't have much time for live albums that M.P.H. is the only album by the band I own – especially seeing as it's not half bad. I think, at the time, money was tight and I just couldn't afford the luxury of spreading myself so thin /5(7).

In terms of new material, the potent “Living out of Touch,” the very Saxon-esque “The Loser,” and the irrepressible “Let’s Go” stood out as highlights, helping to confirm MPH as Vardis’ finest hour. 4. One of the best all Rock Albums ever. This is a lesson on how to make a Telecaster sound like a Rock Guitar!!!! Steve Zodiac really demonstrates how to play a guitar without even thinking of it!!! Buy this album. Absolutely Brilliant with a capitol B!!!!

6. Vardis had been playing the ‘ M.P.H.’ set prior to the record deal for a couple of years and it just seemed the logical and fastest thing to do as I was writing new songs all the time. I never realised at the time that no-one had ever done a debut live album before.
